Full strip and paint for your aircraft
Corona Air Paint handles exterior aircraft painting projects from single-engine airplanes to larger aircraft coordinated at Cable Airport. A complete repaint is an opportunity to address an aging finish, update a scheme and plan the preparation beneath the new paint. Send us the aircraft model, registration, photographs and your preferred finish so we can recommend a project scope.
Preparation matched to the surface
The plan should distinguish metal skins from composite, fiberglass and plastic components. We review the existing finish, discuss appropriate paint removal and preparation, and identify areas needing further assessment. Corrosion, damaged fairings and previous repairs can change the work required. Those findings belong in the project discussion before additional work proceeds.
What determines aircraft painting cost?
Aircraft size, surface condition, paint removal, repairs, color selection and scheme complexity all affect the quote. Door jambs, wheel wells, window sealing, hardware and refinishing individual components should be identified explicitly. A simple stripe layout and a complex multicolor design require different amounts of layout and masking. Ask for a written scope so you can compare aircraft paint shops on the work included.
Planning downtime and delivery
Share your maintenance schedule and preferred delivery window when requesting a quote. Confirm current availability, the anticipated work period, and arrangements for disassembly, control surfaces and reassembly directly with the shop. We will help define what is included and what needs separate coordination.
