Discuss your SR20 or SR22 repaint
Whether you want to refresh an existing finish or explore a custom look, start with your Cirrus model, year, generation and current paint scheme. Corona Air Paint works with Cirrus owners on aircraft refinishing projects. Photographs of the fuselage, wings, tail and wheel pants help us understand the condition and the areas you want to change.
Composite surfaces need an aircraft-specific plan
A Cirrus repaint requires a different preparation discussion from a conventional metal-aircraft strip and paint. Color placement, surface preparation and the work on individual components need to be reviewed against the requirements applicable to your aircraft. We evaluate the proposed scheme before agreeing to the final paint scope.
Restoring a scheme or developing a custom design
Tell us whether you want to restore the existing layout or develop an independent custom design. Reference pictures help explain colors and style, but a factory design from another generation is not automatically a suitable or authorized replacement. Discuss design permissions and applicable aircraft limitations before selecting the layout.
What to send for a Cirrus painting quote
Include the model and generation, registration, existing paint condition, close-up photographs of problem areas, and any previous repaint information you have. Tell us whether your request covers the full exterior, wheel pants, cowlings or localized touch-ups. We can then discuss scope, finish options and scheduling without assuming all Cirrus projects require the same work.
